Assisted Talent,
Diverse Support.
The 100 Scholars Process has been designed to identify students who are enrolled in area schools and have demonstrated evidence of high performance capability in intellectual, creative, artistic, leadership, or specific academic areas which need services or activities not ordinarily provided in a regular school program in order to fully develop such capabilities.
The 100 Scholars Process establishes a support network for each 100 Scholar composed of educators, tutors, corporate and institutional representatives, adult and peer mentors, and the dedicated membership of the 100 Black Men of Madison. This infrastructure “Success Team” for each 100 Scholar provides on-going student assessment and assistance to ensure that each student realizes their potential.
In addition, the 100 Scholars Process offers students and their family’s services and solutions to address individual and systemic issues that can create major barriers to student academic success. Those resources include confidential counseling, financial coaching and work– life solutions from support staff with similar experiences and backgrounds.
Youth Involved in the 100 Scholars Process Will:
-
Develop of a personalized education/career plan with the involvement of parents and their Success Team

-
